James Fowler will be competing at the Alberta Skills Regional Welding Competition on Saturday at SAIT.
Grandmother Tea Ceremony
Parents of self-identified Indigenous students who are female identifying, please encourage your child to participate in this special ceremony offered by Cree Metis Elder Kerrie Moore. Drumming with Darcy
Drumming with Darcy continues on Tuesday after school! Encourage your child to come out and learn about the healing power of First Nations singing and drumming. Darcy Turning Robe of Siksika Nation joins us every other Tuesday thanks to our partnership with Calgary social agency Closer to Home.
Brave Dogs Clan
Brave Dogs Clan (HON) program will not run on Thursday this week due to our all day field trip on Wednesday March 6 to Blackfoot Crossing Historical Park. Ensure your child returns their signed forms to Ms Whiteley by Monday March 4. It will be a great day of learning about the site of the signing of Treaty 7 with the Blackfoot, Tsuut’ina and Stoney Nakoda nations. Students must be at school by 8:45 am on Wednesday morning so the bus can depart from the school at 9:00 am.
